About The Society

The Christmas Family Ball was started in the mid-1960s, a time when the demographics of Vancouver were quite a bit different than they are now. We, the board of the Christmas Family Ball, embrace the ethic diversity of our community and neighbours, and extend a special invitation to those families who do not traditionally celebrate Christmas to join us at this cultural event. The Christmas Family Ball is a celebration of family coming together in the spirit of Christmas; to give back to our community.

Mission Statement: The Christmas Family Ball Society is a Vancouver based non-profit organization that holds a yearly Family Dinner Dance with the purpose of raising funds to benefit smaller, fledgling children’s charities. The charity’s funding must be limited so that the Christmas Family Ball’s funding will make a real difference.

Constitution: The objects of the Christmas Family Ball Society are to raise money for the aid and support to children in the Fields of Arts, Education, Health and Welfare.
